Welcome to Cab Journey! By using our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.
General Terms
Cab Journey is a platform that connects customers with drivers and tourism agents. We do not own vehicles or employ drivers directly. Once the customer boards the cab, all responsibilities lie with the customer and the driver.

- 2. Tariff and Charges:
- Tariffs displayed in the app are indicative and subject to change based on final fare negotiations.
- Customers are responsible for paying tolls, parking fees, and any additional charges directly to the driver.
- 3. Booking Confirmation:
- After completing the booking, a representative will call the customer to confirm the details, finalize the fare, and provide driver contact information.
- 4. Compliance with Laws:
- Both the customer and the driver must adhere to applicable RTO norms, including but not limited to:
- Speed Limits: The driver must comply with the speed regulations.
- Luggage Limits: The luggage carried must not exceed the permissible limit for the selected cab type.
- Passenger Capacity: The number of tourists must not exceed the allowed limit for the chosen cab type.
Customer Responsibilities
5.Verification:
Customers must verify the driver’s name, license, and cab details before beginning the journey.
6.Behavior:
Customers are expected to maintain respectful behavior toward drivers. Any disputes arising during the journey are the sole responsibility of the parties involved.
7.Safety and Responsibility:
Cab Journey is not liable for any damage, loss, or unfortunate events, including accidents, theft, or injuries, involving the customer, driver, luggage, or vehicle.
Driver Responsibilities
8. Driving Compliance:
Drivers must adhere to RTO norms, including speed, passenger, and luggage limits, and ensure vehicle safety standards.
9. Professionalism:
Drivers are expected to maintain professional behavior and assist customers during the journey.
Dispute Resolution
10. Complaints:
- Customers can report driver-related issues to Cab Journey through the app or contact page.
- Cab Journey will review complaints but will not mediate disputes involving monetary loss, physical damage, or behavioral issues.
11. Liability:
Cab Journey holds no responsibility for monetary or physical damages arising between the customer and driver.
Cancellations and Refunds
12. Cancellation Charges:
- Cancellations made before payment or cab arrival will not incur charges.
- Cancellations made after the cab has arrived or payment has been processed will incur a 25% cancellation fee.
13. Refunds:
Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method with in 7days
Miscellaneous
- 14. Service Availability:
- Services are subject to availability in the regions covered by Cab Journey, including Sikkim, Siliguri, Bhutan, Darjeeling, and the Dooars.
- 15. Amendments:
- Cab Journey reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be updated on the app and website.
